The trading of VVUS has made perfect sense. It trades in tandem with revenues, not rescue fantasies.

Indeed the trading currently makes sense in trying to shake loose as many shares as possible for accumulation for owners willing or able to wait.

Not suggesting anything here but this behavior is used especially when news is known that will significantly increase the stock. A beautiful example is Entremed. It plunges by half only days before zooming right back up. In our case I would only look for news in a gradual long term increase direction.

They aren't about to let anything out that would have explosive potential (assuming they have anything like gene therapy)
