<<I would buy in when the NAZ seems to have really bottomed. My feeling is we will have to go down some more for this. There is still no panic selling going on and loud screaming. That has to happen before it is all over.>>

That was a few months back.

The screaming must not have been loud enough for you to hear.

Did you hear the screams in the Summer of '96? Or were you waiting for some insignificant average to cross some imaginary line to trigger your interest in a good business at a reasonable price?

I am sorry in advance for being a jerk. Please do not be offended.

<<I told you !! The stock will definitely go down. The excitement will vanish.>>

You told us we would see 50 before 70. So far you're batting 0.000. And I didn't see anyone claiming the stock couldn't go down.

<<Plain truth is that the valuation is just unreal !!>>

There's no question that the stock is richly valued.

<<The Dow sits on a cliff here if the market drops more AMAT will follow.>>

Probably, but did you notice the relative strength today? The S&P500 dropped 1.5%, but AMAT only dropped by half that. With a beta of 1.8 they should have dropped by 2.7%.

<<I bet we will see the 50s again.>>

Anything is possible. Are you a gambling man?

<<I would not touch the stock here.>>

Neither would I.

<<I would buy in when the NAZ seems to have really bottomed.>>

That could work.

<<My feeling is we will have to go down some more for this. There is still no panic selling going on and loud screaming. That has to happen before it is all over.>>

Nothing has to happen!
