Found this paragraph in the article you published interesting...

"With its relatively late entry to the RDRAM market, Hyundai becomes the last of the major DRAM vendors to introduce RDRAM parts. Fujitsu Ltd., now among the second tier of DRAM vendors and moving away from the personal-computer sector, also has not established itself as an RDRAM vendor yet. "

Adds some more info to the Fujitsu article posted earlier.

The Koreans got their act together regarding RMBS - even their economy has quickly turned around from last summer's doldrums. The Japanese are just slower to react and that corresponds to their economy as well. You would think that a higher margined business would move these DRAM manufacturers to move quicker but that may be due to technological concerns right now - that will be overcome, no question.
