Of the 185stocks listed below, only 22 are below their Oct 8 price.
The average is up 112% since then, and down about 7.7% since 2/8
Feb 8th is about as close as I can get to a local reversal with
data so far. However, since we are still in a horizontal correction
that isn't terribly meaningful. I track it to determine daily drift.

The upper pivot date for the SPX is 1/29 when the high was 1283.63,
and the 3% local low was on 2/9 at 1215.58. those are teh thresholds.

You can not compare october correction with things now, In OCT we had arbitrage based trading causing liquidity problems world wide. If you bought then it was the buying chance of a life time. But I am looking at valuations of mid cap and small cap companies here and they are all showin gvery good valuations. Get rid of the internet crap from those 200 watch lists and you will find that most solid american companies making a product is pretty fairely valued at the low end. Ofcousr the large caps still have a lot to come down from. There is a pretty healthy shakeout going on, and I think the fundies will be left holding the bag on the side lines just like oct.
