I don't think gays have that problem, they are just hyper sensitive to any reproach. People have a right to disapprove about whatever and to voice their disapproval. If not, then freedom is ended in this country. Slander is a different matter IMO. I'm not sure that you can sue someone for hurting your feelings (yet)! I suppose you could for harassment that was continuous and intended to do harm. But not for a casual opinion that all american's are entitled to.
