My apologies for the long post. I've been in BNEZ since the beginning of DEC. 1998 and have been accumulating.

I went to a Compusa store in the Chicago area today and I was told that the product was discontinued. Sorry I didn't ask about units sold but I did ask if lack of sales was the reason for the product being pulled.

I had both the guy behind the business services desk and the guy responsible for placing product on the floor there. In fact he was just taking it off the shelves to return it to the warehouse. He was carrying four copies when he walked up to the desk. Anyway both of them thought it was odd that the product was being discontinued after such a short time. One guy mentioned that they have stocked plenty of stuff that hasn't sold well for years.

The guy behind the business services desk didn't recognize PMA but from my end of the initial call o find out about the product I got the impression the other guy knew exactly where PMA was. Of course this could have been because he was in the process of pulling it off the shelf.

The packaging is good but it could be better. Maybe something bolder or more attention grabbing on the face that makes you want to turn it over and learn about it. Also it had bad product location. This may IMO be due to the affiliation with INC. which could lead people in the store to think it is a tool for people running their own business rather than a tool for personal investing. The price was $59.99.

If they plan on using quarterly updates to generate recurring revenues
why not sell it for less now in order to promote sales in the future.

By the way I thought Moneybaggs idea of bundling the product with new on line brokerage accounts was brilliant as long as the company can carry the initial financial burden.

I appreciate your comments being I know nothing about retail merchandizing.

BUT, I do think that the INC name is a MAJOR selling point. It immediately gives the product legitimacy. I don't that should change and, personally, I don't think the packaging or anything else is the problem.

It's product knowlegde and, if in a retail space, it needs to be properly displayed. There are MANY copies of Windows on Wallstreet the the Staples and CompUSA that I've been in. The SAME level of exposure should be deserved. WOW really is NOT a competing product. It's for online investing and daytrading. PMA could easily be bought by the SAME people who buy WOW.

that's my thoughts, later, leroyt
