To: SI Admin Bob:

Bob,
Its my understanding that Tim Luke was perminently suspended for a bit of profanity and other unspecified reasons. While I applaud your work in policing SI, as we've discussed in the past, I must take exception to this action only for what I currently know.

Tim has been going through some personal hard times and lately has been unjustly harrased by agitators. Such preasures take a lot out of a person when so many people follow him and when personal family pressures take their toll.

If you look at Tim's past postings as compared to other notable individuals on SI he has always maintained a very level and controlled presentation. In fact, he's been quite a model of decorum for SI. Yes, he's regressed a little but not so much as those that you've admonished in the past which are still on SI. Those few that have complained have not even come close to contributing to the success of SI as Tim has.

If you review Tim's thread "No Hand Holding...Picks Only" Subject 23670
you'll find that Tim has a large supporting membership.

While I agree that you are the final Judge, I do ask that you consider the overall curcumstances as well as the larger number of member's voice in this matter.

Regards,
Gregg
