That this story was reported in the leading newspaper in a city whose population is significantly gay leads me to give it more credence than I otherwise would. I think the editors of The S.F. Chronicle are very sensitive to inflammatory articles which paint gays in an unfavorable light, and would not have published it without serious consideration. I could be wrong. I don't want the story to be true. I love sex, and have a healthy libido, but I wouldn't want to sleep with hundreds of women. In the abstract it might sound appealing, but for me, those kind of numbers represent a gluttony few men would actually enjoy. I like wine, but I don't drink a magnum every night because of the negative consequences. Ain't no free lunch when it comes to sex either.
