G,

I have tried to discuss this idea before, but no one showed interest. So I will venture again.

We had 3 sharp down days in a row. Margin calls were occurring today, and more will tomorrow. So I think that barring some positive reaction to PPI, tomorrow will be down also. The volume has been low. It either means funds were not selling, or they are selling in a very discrete and orderly manner, or maybe they finished selling in the 1st 2 weeks of Jan, and they are out now.

I watch amzn trading closely and there were many large blocks in the afternoon (which accelerated the drop). They were definitely selling.
The morning had not one block greater than 5K for the 1st 3 hours. The afternoon had dozens, with some 25K size.

If tomorrow is negative I think we'll see increased volume.
