Not so much the magnitude, as it is the people you are dealing with. While no laws are being broken, running so fast to shape accounting numbers is disconcerting and a warnings sign.

No doubt bigger picture is what counts, if they pull off their biz plan all this talk will be pointless.

I am short, and have surfed the wave up to 199 and back again to be back in the black as I belive the stock will continue to trend down to a "speculative" fundamental value of about $40 to $50.

The speculative refers to AMZN generating $10 - $12 Billion by 2002, with margins of roughly 9%. All in all this is what I call a Goldilocks stock - everything needs to be just right for the future to play out.
