In addition to showcasing content from OTN, such as code samples, white papers, downloads, and newsgroups, iD provides technical articles, step-by-step tutorials, case studies, and profiles of and interviews with Internet developers. The first issue of iD, available online now at oracle.com, includes technical articles about building enterprise-class web-enabled multimedia solutions using Java; email enabling your Developer Server applications; securing your web server for e-commerce; and a Q&A with Linus Torvalds, creator of the Linux operating system. OTN Expands Content of Deja News, Inc. Through an agreement with Deja News, Oracle Technology Network is providing free newsgroup based support to developers. Oracle Technology Network newsgroups are currently available for all software offered on Early Access Programs (EAPs) and are staffed by Oracle development groups.
