thanks for pointing out my negativity was historically bullish<G>. i am leveraged on calls now, i have rid myself of even more common. so, if it goes up i will do well (actually better than i would if i was still holding the common), if it goes down, i dont lose the whole thing. beside, i needed the money to buy real discounts.

i hope you are right...i have thought for sometime that ALA doesnt want to deal with the CPE end. here is the problem...its worthless. so, the loser CPE business goes to 3COM and WSTL. that doesnt make me happy. what i wanted was the DSLAM business. its abundantly clear that it isnt coming.

richardson...home of DSC, now owned by ALA. thats a more logical assumption.
