It can't be good for CUBE to be so strongly associated with piracy (first in China, now this thing), even though it's the discs and not the players that are the problem.

Could the "poor video performance" in this case have more to do with cheap support hardware rather than Ziva? It would help to know what was "poor" about it. Maybe too many errors from the drive, or a poor output signal due to other cut-rate parts. Doesn't seem fair to blame it all on the decoder chip.
