As an example, what if I wanted to know all the companies that were in the hearing aid business (just an example), how would I tell QP2 to find this for me... or can it?

You can't use QP2 to find companies in very narrow categories like hearing aid business. However, you can use QP2 to find companies sorted by SIC code, Standard Industry Classification. There are a lot more SIC categories than IRL.

To get a feel for what is available from "Charts" select "Search for Symbol" and then select the "Sorted by SIC Code" tab. Then click on the plus sign to expand a broad category into narrower categories.

You can also use QP2 to scan for companies with a particular SIC code.
