I am not sure why SEG (at this point) would move back to $25 or $26 unless VRTS fell completely out of bed ... at $67 9/16 VRTS represents about $2.2 Bn of SEG's market cap of $7.6 Bn (29%) ... $1.5 Bn in net cash would represent about (20%) if SEG's market cap ... Operationally, it does not seem to me that SEG's business has gotten any worse (maybe it has and I can not see it) ... Pretty good product/market momentum ... Luczo seems to have "righted the ship" ... I like the new share repurchase authorization ... I hope they use the entire thing at or below these levels ... That said, I have no idea what the market is thinking ... Seth Klarman always says that you should understand why the market is behaving the way it is toward a stock ... understand why it is down ... you do not have to agree with the market's judgement, but you should be aware of it ... I can honestly say that I do not have any concrete sense for why SEG is back to $30 ... As I guy who's cost is just above $19 ... I am thinking of adding some here ... --Duker
