Media One has a lot of spunk to pick GI. Mediaone is the primary cable company in Atlanta. I have a Scientific Atlanta 8600 set top now from Media One. They put in fiber last year. I had already received cable modem junk mail. I did not bite therefore don't know what vendor they were using for the box. They must have had a huge break from GI to take a chance on that kind of scrutiny for their new STB.

Good god almighty.... I have never seen such a bunch on whining, impatient and incredulous babies in quite some time. (1) tmrent - you post articles that are VOD related, however you take the MOST negative implication from each. What the hell do you expect from the stockholders here? Everybody wants INFORMATION. Thats a fact. True and relevant information is the only reason most of us are here. Try letting the articles speak for themselves, or if you feel a need to editorialize, try some freaking BALANCE, how about it? And for better or worse, how about keeping the dates on the press releases! (2) ROCK - I've seen nothing from you but being a "YES MAN" for tmrent. Try an original idea will ya? Either come up with something or crawl back under.(all due respect of course) (3) Don Hand - Hiring of additional staff shows the staff need assistance. Well DUH! For crying out loud, try the phrase "staff augmentation." And who the hell is gonna hire someone when their is no need? Then you need to worry! Nobody EVER said that CCUR is a world class VOD firm. If it was already, then the stock would not be at$4. Is this brain surgery or what? We are(most of us) betting that it WILL be world class. We are ahead of the game. AHHH thats investing 101. I'm no top drawer investment analyst, but even I know that much. Everybody is so damn impatient. Hell, me too. Find me an investor that does not want his profit TODAY; I'd like to speak with him. (4) Investor Relations - I agree that it is a little past time for that. But I'm not gonna rant and bash Corky on that front. I own the stock. The tech and sales and contact guys is whats gonna grow the firm, not freaking PR. PR works in the short term fellas. No substance-no staying power. (5) I've heard posters going off on Corky releasing information selectively. Maybe,maybe not. But what did the folks buying up the stock before the qtr announcement know that we did not? Was there a stellar announcement? NO. Has the stock taken off? NO. Has the accumulation continued. NO. Sounds like the accumulators were playing the same game as us. Better to be in a little early than a little late. If it takes 3 or 6 or 9 more months to take off here, the patient will quickly forget the wait and be patting themselves on the back about their WISE investment! Those without the patience will miss out. TOUGH! Thats also covered in investment 101. (6) Guys(and ladies)several somebodys have been accumulating this stock. Trials are in different stages of progress (and we are 50% of the players). Some top industry people are coming on board.(maybe they were ALL fired, hic) Staff is being moved to Atlanta. SFA has 2M warrants at $5. Who here has more knowledge than SFA management? The fact that CCUR has to keep the information under wraps means we will not see the rise as soon as we would like. So freaking what? Its coming. Don't like it-fine, go get an internet baby, or try a blue chip...they publish shit all the time. But show me one that has the POTENTIAL of CCUR to triple or quadruple or better in the next year or two and I'm a buyer. (7) Risk. Again..DUH. No risk, no gain. If you want a "sure thing" go put it in a passbook savings account. Is it possible during the VOD rollout delays that another, better technology will come along. Of course. Goes without saying. So far SFA, GIC, TWX and others are spending lots of time and money on SEAC and CCUR trials. For now thats good enough for me. You think they are doing these trials for shits and grins. I places my bets and takes my chances. Grow up. Give me all the negative information you can muster...I love it. Show me a reason that my investment has become riskier and I'm all ears. Can't get enough! But try and leave the spin to the politicians. Goodboy,Ken and others are accused of spinning. That I can live with because they identify themselves as LONG and that is their agenda. I have yet to see a negative poster take on those boys in an intelligent discussion. tm and the boys just scream "unfair" and take thier balls and go home. If you want to take every opportunity to post negative spin, then identify yourself as a short, get some balance, get lost or get ready for a shitstorm and take your medicine! Goodnight
