William,

<Bonds have held at their 200-day, and it's usually a good idea to buy when there's alot of selling. >

Unflappable. Bravery in the face of enemy fire. Keeping one's head when everyone else is losing theirs. Buy when blood is running in the streets. All the thoughts come to mind when reading your posts.

Good luck.

Being confident here requires belief in the sustainability of the infotech sector's growth and the stability of the economy. I don't have doubts about either.

Well said. The buying pressure builds in the background, and personally I'd be happy if it continued to do so for several more months. The longs have time on their side, and when you give the Internet and technology time, it will impress and surprise you. People love the Internet now, but the Internet will only become more admirable and useful as the years go by.

BTW, I've done two deals which originated on eBay. eBay didn't get any revenues from those deals though. In one case I was contacted via email by someone who saw I had a high but losing bid on a PCMCIA modem (for a friend). They sold me the same product at my bid price. In the other case, my brother contacted a seller after an auction of an LP in which the reserve was not met. My brother passed the purchase opportunity on to me, and I sent $36 cash to a guy in Sweden in exchange for the LP I received yesterday. Positive feedback was provided by both parties in both transactions. No revenues for eBay there, but the model is excellent (and I do own EBAY shares).
