They don't have the staff to handle the curious in a very competitive market. Maybe if the lab charged $80/hour consultation to callers they would be happy to chat? <VBG> Comments on this thread suggest that there is a security issue for MG to protect the J/L process which makes some sense in keeping the labs confidential. Nobody's force to buy or hold the stock if they are uncomfortable.
