yeah, somehow it helps ease the pain knowing we're taking
other tech luminaries down with us.

Interesting take on Dells earnings from The Bull Market Report.
I have a question about DELL's report that came out yesterday.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on this thought.

The Street was expecting $5.5 Billion in revenues and .31 cents/share
profits. The numbers came in at $5.2 billion in revenues and matched
profit estimates.

This to me sends a good signal. They basically generated the same
amount of profits that was expected with less total revenue. This
screams increased efficiency to me. Had the 5.5 Billion number been
hit they surly would have beat the profit number.

OUR ANSWER: We LOVE this thought. Why didn't we think of it? It's
so true. Here's a company that is being vilified because they missed
their revenue number by a whisker that some analysts thought they
should achieve. But they MADE their earnings estimate on a smaller
sales level! We love it. AND, we love Dell! We can see it going to
the low 70's and maybe even into the 60's before it's all over. Then
again, it might have seen its lows today. Who knows? Just don't miss
it while it is 30% below its high.
