The OS level Zip support in Win 98 is available only as part of the Windows 98 Plus Pack. But you can buy WinZip (a commercial product) at any software outlet, which will give you the ability to zip and unzip files.

There are also numerous shareware and even freeware compression and decompression utilities. Check out zdnet.com
