With ETrade - Is there a way to know if something is shortable or not?

I used to see "UPC-xxx" messages when I got quotes, but haven't seen one in a while.

Does the UPC mean that it is likely to get called in?

The only thing that took the stock up at the close were day traders closing their positions for the day...that and very weak shorts that panicked inbto the slight risewhich sold off nicely after peaking at 33 and trading at 30 and lower..

the stock could open between 20 to 27 but my guess is that its way overbought and MM's absolutely raped the " Associates"'
