99.999some % of gays won't engage in those parties. That is a big part of my point. Unnfair to judge the group by the acts of some extremists who might not even exist. Will we call all Polish-Americans maniacs because they're stuck with Ted Kaczynski? Similar situation imho.

I can't buy into the notion that these (supposed) Roulette Parties are protest orgies which seek to draw attention to AIDS in hope of finding a cure. Plain and simple, I think these guys have an itch to scratch and are willing to scratch that itch even if it kills them. This kind of behavior defines severe addiction, self hatred, or both.
