G,

<hey, look, these stocks are all tied to each other with string (marketing 'deals', 'alliances', ownership, etc.) >

A few weeks ago, KIS alreted William to the incestuous relation between softbank, yhoo, and egrp and Ziff Davis. I think it goes like this: softbank (which influences all three) had ziff davis borrow money from Morgan S. which they deposited into egrp which gave it to yhoo for advertising, which accounted for the entire amount by which yhoo beat its estimate in the prev qtr. That of course set the stage for the big runup in yhoo.

After much wrangling, william said he looked into it and there was no problem. going to new highs.

by the way, I think Ziff Davis has filed for bankruptcy.

KIS maybe you can tell it more accurately.
