LindyBill, the big momentum investors came in late during the last quarter run up--the stock went up 13 points on the day after earnings. It actually should have made this move before. I think the strategy this time would be that one should sell during the day of earnings release because of what everyone knows about the last release. This known fact about last quarter provides fuel to the run up. The stock should move up to its all time high during the day of the release---the following day, it doesn't matter to me. Then you get back in for the june earnings. THe Dell run-up example is what has me convinced. BTW--the DOJ is already factored in to the price--I believe a loss is too. That explains the difference in PE. 74 % EPS growth would have attracted a lot higher PE. Once the bad news is confirmed, i expect to see it take off (in the summer--when case wraps up). Office2000 upgrades will show up big in next quarter. I think if I was a stock holder(long term), this would be my favorite. You know me--i have other strategies--which are more stressfull.
