Thank's for the information; I think there are a lot of us out there that would like to see Actel buy Gatefield and see them really push to catch up to Xilinx and Altera. It really seems like a perfect marraige with Actel's financial strength and marketing experience matched with Gatefield's excellent designs but unable to capitalize because of their weak financial and marketing condition. I'm hoping Actel makes their move soon or risk someone else coming in and buying the company which could be bad news for Actel once their agreement with Gatefield runs out. I guess everyone is waiting for news on the new .25 micron chips; hope the news is good for both Actel's and Gatefield's sake.
