<<Is this bigoted?>>

Well, I would consider it bigoted because you are saying that homosexual sexual practices are essentially very dangerous, medically speaking. In this last post you acknowledge that anal sex is problematic even in heterosexual populations as well, but you never acknowledge that sexual behavior of all types has inherent risks, and that the overwhelming majority of victims of sexually-transmitted diseases are heterosexual.

I also think the rampant promiscuity in the male heterosexual community is partially due to the fact that these are all GUYS, as Lather pointed out, but also because many homosexuals are unhappy because of the prejudice they encounter during their lives. If you are concerned about sexually transmitted diseases as a health risk, then the very best thing you could do is advocate vociferously and widely for tolerance of homosexuals, so that they don't develop the low self esteem and substance abuse problems which make their sexual expression risky and damaging. A mentally healthy homosexual population, living openly and being able to form stable relationships with legal protections, would definitely be your best bet.
