BeOS- I love it! Anything that doesn't rhyme with...oh hell, windows...some recent press re: Linux...IBM will be supporting Linux in a pretty significant way...hoping others will as well...And Notes will be doing the Linux dance (if R5 ever sees the light of day....). I know it is OT, but my God, I hate MSFT with a passion...not crazy about NVDA either :) BTW, this Carmack thing is significant...anybody that thinks that id not knowing about hardware roadmaps will affect id...is wrong...these guys created TDFX (though we emerged victorious after their initial support of Rendition)...What disturbs me most is that TDFX CLAIMS to be a marketing powerhouse...that they have such a strong BRAND...maybe, but NVDA is kicking our ass where it counts...first getting the PGL deal, and now Carmack...why isn't Carmack on our team? There is no more influential programmer in the gaming world, especially when you are talking about 3D...a coup for nvda, a loss for tdfx... OT----thank God for EIDSY...up a buck today....still I take my thrashing like a man (a really stupid man...)
