Here is INTC's planned obsolescence roadmap that has already occurred - 8086, 286, 386, 486, P75, P90, P100, P120, P133, P150, P166, P233, P266, P300, P350, P400, P450 (and the P's kept coming one after another rather quickly). As a former software developer, I couldn't keep up with the changes but change we did or we would not have survived as a company. INTC hasn't changed their business plan in years. They'll keep introducing newer and faster machines (with faster & faster RDRAM) every few months that will be a blur when we all look back upon it. jmanvegas
