I have known some arrestingly effeminate guys. They were hetero however. (kinda like Pauly Shore and then some.) The gay guys I have known more than superficially are ... guys. Except one who trained himself to use that annoying lisp.

That reminds me of something that happened with my daughter (around 4 at the time) at christmas. We go on about santa claus bringing the presents. I put a little hot wheels type car in her stocking with the other presents. When she got to the car she looked at it and said so matter of factly, oh, a mistake, and tossed it aside. She immediately assumed santa got a boy's toy into her stocking by mistake. I laughed for 10 minutes it was so funny.
