I suppose you are correct NW, however the current Businessweek suggest all isnot quite that smooth....Her's a little simple hypothetical situation....If cpq wants to the kink of IT and the NET, why wouldn't they be more profitable if they built java or linux based systems, which they could theoretically sell gfor less and wioth higher margins..........now I am sure it is very clear I am not a techie, but from what I gather there is a small revolution gooing on out there against MSFT.... Seems like the linuz guy summed it up pretty well.....MSFT OS is like buying a car whose hood doesn't open and the rest of the os'es, well they allow the hood to be openned and the carb to be tinkered with.
Maybe it's just my wish.......for some reason I love to hate MSFT
