Regarding WCTI - Anthony I've been following your thread and followed your lead on a few shorts (PRFM & SATH ... thanks). I am also long on WCTI. I just want to make a few points to aid in your decision.

1) The site went out on the 17th not the 18th as mentioned in the press release and someone on this thread (maybe RobRacer?).

2) This is a beta release and is only indexing a small fraction of the web. If current shareholders realize this they will not be concerned with a small number of hits (compared to Yahoo) for now. The real release is targeted more in the April timeframe. (If hits are low for the real release or if current investors think it is supposed to compete with Yahoo now then it will be a problem)

3) This first release is simple in features. IMO, they are stress testing it with the increased volume of users before allowing access to additional features. As a software developer I like this approach and think it is the right long term decision. However, a non-technical investor might be concerned (a point for you short term)

4) The technology is based on a core product that has been in the market place for a long time (over 10 years). This core product has a good reputation for speed and power. I downloaded this product off the web (sorry I don't have the link right now) to get an idea of the potential features and how they can be applied to the web. The feature I liked most is being able to search for words based on relative location For example, Find Anthony and Pacific in the same paragraph or within 5 words of each other :) I confirmed that these features will be turned on in future versions but of course they won't tell me when.

If you are a mid to long term investor (say 4-6 months) and do your DD I think you will like WCTI. As a short term (next week or two) it may go down but it doesn't look like as sure of a bet as some of your recent picks.

Right now, WCTI is selling technology. In the April/June timeframe I expect a shift toward marketing.

Even though I am long I will try to give you an honest unbias answer to any questions you may have (as I respect your past performance and approach)

Regards,
Rob

P.S. - If you think it is going to go down soon please PM me :) I would love to keep my retirement.
