AOL-ATHM? You're just mixing opposites to come up with some kind of "one-worlder" happiness pill. You have to understand that a united world would cause the world to self-destruct, and a united cable market would be another inefficient antiquating monopoly like Ma Bell and TCI. Differences are critical to the continued existence of everything. Naive idealism has caused more grief in the world than any other single cause. If you don't believe, go talk to the citizens of the Soviet Union, if you can find any.
