Pixar is an internet stock?

Last night I was watching a CNBC report about the recent decline in the internet sector, and after showing screen shots of Amazon and Ebay's web pages they showed a rotating wire-frame of Buzz Lightyear! This means that CNBC thinks that Pixar is an internet stock!!! (LOL!) And one of the only internet stocks with earnings!!! GO PIXAR!!!

(I know Ted David of CNBC logs onto SI. I wonder what he thinks of this.)

"I could see a 2.2 up to a 2.8 Disney share for each Pixar share and
Disney still would come out on top."

I agree that dis would still come out on top. And I read....somewhere, I hate it when I forget these things, that Disney is scaling back its motion picture making (300 million charge to 160 million) this year and concentrate on a core business of animation for 2000-2003. Perhaps you are right. Maybe the vehicle that Disney wants to use is to do more computer animated flics is Pixar..... but I just think that Disney is not riding as high as they were with the recent buyouts.

I could be very wrong, but don't you think that this monster, disney, needs to digest other things before Pixar?
