M&I Data to Expand in Electronic Banking With Deal to Buy 300-Person ADP Division<i/> Benny, I'm sure you remember the CheckFree/ADP alliance some time ago, it went nowhere, they finally killed it. If M&I wants to cobble together a service offering their welcome to it. Burnham said it right, "ADP is leaving the electronic banking business because the company views it as outside its core service offerings." It doesn't exactly fit into M&I's wheelhouse either.
