JDN, re: "I think it's a terrible idea." And I think that opinion is shared by the majority of citizens. Anything that smacks of an ID database is troubling to Americans. I'd like to see Intel drop PSN totally. It's a psychological time bomb.

I've tried to set mine to "off", but since I must accept a few for online transactions, I am quickly tiring of clicking the reject buttons a million times a day. I think I'm about to succumb! I sure wish Netscape would have not invented cookies in the first place. Sort of like PIII CPU Id... Jeff
