Yes they do and most big search engines use this technology today. For one that technology does not support the relative location of words. This will allow for more productive searches. For example, if you expect the words to appear with in 25 words of each other ... then you can avoid all those useless hits resulting from meta tags, etc. (Why does a sex site pop up in every search?)

You will be able to add the search technology to your own site (for what they same will be a reasonable maintenance fee after the 2 month trial period) allowing users to search only your site with they enter that way. I think this is a very expensive option with INKT's business model.
