jlt--I agree there must me a relationship...Common sense dictates that there must be a relationship...I was looking for something concrete on which to pin the double digit unemployment projections...and to determine if those projections were based on the foreign trade portion of GDP. My spouse in an employee of a multi-national. (Just a side note: My hubby has been very upbeat re: y2k efforts at his place of business. A director recently put out a "y2k--no big deal" memo. Oooops! They just discovered that all the recently purchased (within the past few months) hardware and software in his immediate environment is not compliant. He didn't listen to me when I told him 83% of the stuff coming off the shelves was non-compliant...He believes me now.)
