Maybe you should consider the safety of a 5% Certificate of Deposit insured by the FDIC. You are following the stock too closely, no wondor you are getting sick of it (esp if you got in in the 80s). Obviously LUcent saw some value in ASND to buy it at a fairly steep premium, and they know much more than you and I. In my view patience will be rewarded (actually already has been for me, since I acquired in the 20s and 30s).

Regards

Alok

ASND was up partly because the concerns regarding PSINet using Cisco's AS5800 were laid to rest. Cisco is one of the vendor that PSINet uses in its multivendor solution. And as I had noted earlier, when Cisco very grandly announced the PSINet contract, that it does not matter since ASND had 80% of the PSINet contract and thats pretty much the max they were going to award one single vendor. Ascend got the cake and Cisco got the crumbs. Simple. And the LU split is also helping.

Once again negative. Every morning we open up a point or so and the sellers move in
immediately. I hope today is not another down 3 day. I am realy getting sick of these.

Finder,

I am sorry I was so late in responding. Was at work. It did end up fine. I just do not know the intraday trend.
