Well, is he right? Come on, where are all the unbiased smart people with valuable information to share with the thread? Let's have some discussion, of course I will only read, no comment. Honestly, If any of you have actually read my posts you could debunk this thing in about 5 minutes. How about somebody else give it a shot. I won't correct you nor will I post my opinion. Let's hear what you all have to say. I will give you a hint though. Here are some questions you should ask about this latest post from Mr. Rent:

How much experience did Diva have before 1996 in installing and integrating digital/analog head end systems, set top boxes and servers? Did Diva invent a server, head end equipment, a set top box, an operating system from scratch and integrate them with others components to create their VOD solution? Is that a simple process or a long process? Is it easier to do something that is your core technology and prime area of business or to move into a market and technology that is new? Who do you think has more experience in inventing, installing and integrating digital cable systems and upgrades, DIVA/SARNOFF or Scientific Atlanta? After all there hard work and 22 months of trials, what became of Diva's set top box? Has it been replaced? Does Diva upgrade the cable plant for the MSO? Has even one major MSO embraced the DIVA model? Do you know how much money DIVA generated in revenue this past quarter? How compelling is the CCUR/SEAC/SFA model to an MSO if the DIVA model with a self admitted expensive server can generate profits to DIVA with only 40 percent of the revenue from VOD? Do you really beleive a massively parallel computing architechture will get cheaper than CCUR's offering. How cheap do you believe a Sun server is running Oracle Video server software?

These questions are all worthy of answers based on the statement made by Mr. Rent. I hope you all get answers from him. I know the answers to many of these questions. But why post them, that would be crowding out the thread and stifiling new ideas. Maybe some of you have better questions for Mr. Rent. Ask away. This forum is open and this guy is not going to be posting a retort. Have a nice day and I will check in again tommorow or Monday. I love this stock action. Lots of friends are excited, they get paid their bonus checks next week.

Mr. Rent, I would guess that you are substantially right with the "it ain't easy" thrust of your post, but that is what the stock has been saying for at least 2 years. It has a beautiful orderly pattern consistent with gradually approaching a gold mine.

Tmrent,

Do you know if any major MSO's have adopted or expressed interest in adopting the DIVA model of IVOD?
