Shalom, thank you for asking about my son. He has stayed away from drugs and out of prison. This is the most exciting thing for us, he will be working for a year come March. Prayerfully we hope he has learned a lesson that will stick with him. I recall our first conversation when I picked him up and we headed home. He related to me that he was fearful about being able to make it on the outside, but He opened his Bible and started reading about Jesus' teachings on the birds in Mat. He said he heard birds chirping, looked up through the small window at the top of the recreation building and there saw several birds joyfully signing and playing around. He interpreted this as a sign from God for it meant a great deal to him. We just never know how God can calm a anxious soul. A simple thing, but maybe not so simple, as a few birds at play.
