NEWS!..CTI Receives $2.2 Million in Additional Equity
OGDEN, Utah, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc. reported today that it has received a total of $2.2 million in equity financing over the past two months. These funds came from the private placement of the Company's common stock, and will be used primarily as additional working capital.

David Packer, CTI's president stated, "The achievement of fully reporting status last month has opened new opportunities to fund our ongoing operations. This additional capital will allow us to accelerate the pace of product and clinical testing that is underway. It will also allow us greater flexibility to address other potential revenue-generating activities, such as the workers' compensation marketplace, that can take advantage of our proprietary technology."

The CTI thermal imaging system, configured for breast cancer detection, is undergoing clinical trials at 4 locations and uses a sophisticated heat sensitive camera to record an image of the heat produced by breast tissue. This image is then processed by a proprietary computer algorithm that is designed to recognize and differentiate the distinct heat signatures of malignant and benign breast tumors. The procedure is painless and requires no exposure to radiation or breast compression.

Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc. develops and deploys thermal imaging and associated technologies for use in the enhancement of medical screening, diagnosis and patient management.
