You got a way with words John, not directed at the school system but IMO that remark hit the nail on the head.

I'm afraid I created an insurmountable hurtle. It's rather like dealing with the
public schools these days. You just have to keep lowering the standards to address the
lowest common denominator - to include the disinterested, learning-impaired, and
ultimately the unteachable.

I'm no disrespect was meant to the learning-impaired but IMO this IS what HAS been done...May I quote you?
