I've said I attribute this hyperpromiscuity to a brand of obsessive neuroticism, the root of which has been scientifically attributed to genetics or conditioning. Or both. Doesn't really matter to me. What does matter is that a very small subset of humanity which is distinguished by a specific sexual practice has achieved enough critical mass and political influence to have this sexual act included as part of children's publically funded education. If male/male and fem/fem sex is included why not include S&M and other fetishic practices which share the same (if not higher) behavioral frequency among sex mates as gay sex does? Wouldn't want to discriminate agianst all the Watersportsmen out there would we?

Regarding dysfunction, I consider the brain an "organ" as defined by your dictionary. Psychology (a function of brain activity) defines behavior, and an argument can be made that gays in fact suffer from an "incomplete or impaired functioning" when viewed from an anthrobiological perspective: it is a genetic imperative that humans reproduce, and homosexuality does not lend itself to this kind of complete functionality. In this sense homosexuals are dysfuntional.

Impotent heterosexual men are also dysfuntional by this definition.

I don't believe sex should be used or was intended only for reproduction, but in a fully functioning man, reproductive ability and the desire to mate with a female (whether one seeks children or not) defines "normal" functioning in the grand scheme of things .
