<< Frankly, Schloezel has always been a little bit hard to pin down when it comes to his investment strategy. In general, he likes to buy into high-growth businesses that have a dominant franchise. But he doesn't have any absolute guidelines or thresholds. For example, he doesn't seem to have any strict rule about how rapidly a company's earnings must be growing for him to get interested. He also professes to be unconcerned about stocks with sky-high price-to-earnings ratios.>>

Thanks for the ancient history lesson....Those are some valuable insights on the Janus 20 Fund Manager and his investing style...his track record speaks for itself... It will be interesting to see how large his DELL holdings are this spring.

Regards,

Scott

IBD showed DELL yesterday as Janus 20's major holding again with AOL back to second. I'll give you the numbers when I get home, I have today's paper with me but not yesterdays.

Thank you John. Janus20 is a focus fund. The management has bet correctly in picking growth stocks. Of course the performance is exemplary when those growth stocks go up. Conversely, in a correction or bear market the harder they will fall, unless management is fast enough to switch to cash or its equivalents.
