Of course I wouldn't want one of those AMD equipped Presarios!! However, I might take a Celeron equipped Prosignia with monitor for $969.00 for my business... You can even get it direct!! Comes with a 3 year warranty. Check it out Frank....

PS - I remember Mikey telling us in interviews how the sub 1k machine 'lacked this and lacked that'. <gg> If he tells us that he will now sell it, I wonder if he might someday also tell us that 'AMD is not so bad after all'....

well put, i admire such concise logic...why walk backward into strange surroundings, when you can go forward into familiarity...

first not always best, when first forced into a market due to inventory and obsolescence...if dell decides to enter...it will be at margins required to make the attempt profitable... 4-6 week inventory sometimes makes manufacturers do silly things...4-6 days creates a comfort zone...if the concept proves not profitable, easy to exit without much damage...ed a.
