I saw Ted and Jane at the Kennedy Center with Larry King (a business related night- out). He is amiable, but very dense, and very vain. When King asked Jane about what it was like to grow up the daughter of a celebrity, he got competitive, and had to insist that his dad, who was a well known businessman in Charleston, was equivalent to Henry Fonda. He also made a stupid joke about his wife being "long in the tooth" before hundreds of people. This was less than a year ago, and my wife and I wonder if that were not the beginning of "trouble in paradise"...
