John
Today's action in MU gave a "OSH" OVER SOLD HOOK
indicating the rise was to be shorted.
Do you want to see 30 minute chart of it ?

Hal

The paint crew was at work again today -- today's alleged "62 3/4 high", on inspection of Time & Sales data, must have been put there only to satisfy (or thwart) 50-DMA or somesuch efforts. At first glance, it looks like 62 7/16 would have kept it completely below the 50-DMA today, but 64 3/4 didn't.

After some fund buying after the close which brought it to 62 7/16 (valid in my book), there were three 100-share trades and a 300-share trade that brought it up to 62 3/4, and a few more little trades to bring it back down. Since many data systems ignore 100-share trades in their calculations, they must have been there only to provide a flimsy excuse for the jump to 62 3/4.

Amazing divergence in MU and the $SOX beginning at 1:30 today. Dunno if it's a difference in the MA's or what.

Action looks bullish to me here, so I'm back to long again as of this morning. I'm hoping for a Classic option finish at 65 tomorrow.
