Lynn...You are right, saying something and then doing it are two different things. For Dell to come down on the sub 1K battlefield the "perfect business model" will have to be altered big time. The model is already cracked as it no longer grabs the business customer the way it was and the falling component price advantage is gone. The 1K market contaminates the purity of Dell's model and IMO reduces its efficiency and therefore its competitive advantage. Steve
