I used to walk around to Blacks from Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Is that weird, or should I say, "sixties deco" round house with the elevator from the top of the cliffs to the beach, still there. Man, did they have a view of Blacks. That was and is one of my favorite all time spots in the entire world. I have a picture of my girl friend, now wife, taken on Blacks with that house in the background.
