I don't think the market is shearing any bear today, unless one happened to short sickso the indices or something like that ... the new lows just keep growing as we go up. Long bond keeps going down .... something has to change with that or there's a lid on it ...

the mighty DELL's bounce is pathetic ...

Interesting action today. Looks like stocks and
bonds may finally be decoupling. BK is on deferral
as equities have decided they can stomach higher
rates. Happened in spring of '87 same way. Higher
oil and oil stocks plus bottoming of commodities
would also be indicator of shift. BWTFDIK.

<<Market shearing his gnuts off today. >>
Don't know about that - it looks like a pathetic attempt to force the shorts to cover. Low volume, well, tells volumes! -g- Tell me how many perspiration weeks in the last two years have seen such low volume? Me remembers none.

Also, bonds are taking a hit late in the session.

LOL!! I was out this afternoon. I knew this POS wasn't going anywhere. Until we hit a new high, the direction is DOWN.
